Meet The Stylists

Amber Collins

Amber is co-owner of Abella Grand Salon. She is an experienced hair artist that loves people. Styling runs in the family. Both her parents were stylists. Amber received her certification for cutting physics and razor cutting at the Redken Exchange in New York. She is a Calura organic color and perm specialist. She does fashion colors as well. She is certified in Babe hair extensions. Amber is proficient with many hair types including thick or curly hair and can help you with your thinning hair. She is constantly researching hair products to provide her clients with the best advice and recommendations.

Susie Hohenshelt

Susie is an experienced master stylist and co-owner of Abella Grand Salon. She is a Brazilian Blowout Certified Specialist (smoother). She is highly-skilled colorist and a Calura organic certified specialist. She is proficient at facial waxing and brow color as well. If you like curls, Susie is proficient with all types of perms, including organic. She has excellent cutting skills. She is certified in razor cutting can create both modern and classic looks. She takes master classes to keep current with the latest trends and new products.

Kathy Stansbury

Kathy is an experienced cosmetologist with multiple skills. She specializes in esthetics (skin) and nail care. Kathy’s spa facial is a relaxing way to de-stress while you pamper your skin. She is also proficient in nail care, including manicures, acrylics and Shellac gel polish. Another relaxing way to pamper yourself is with a luxurious pedicure from Kathy. She also specializes in men’s pedicures. Kathy continues to take master classes to stay current on the latest products.

Lauren Beaty

Lauren has over 15 years of experience doing hair and is a certified Farouk Systems, Inc. Educator for CHI, Biosilk, and SunGlitz. She is also certified in the CHI transformation system, Enviro Systems. Lauren specializes in colors, eyelash tinting, and eyebrow waxing. She has professional experience with cutting, texturing, coloring, highlighting, lowlighting, color correction, hair tinsel, waxing, eyelash perming, and perms. Beth Powell

Beth was blessed in her late 30s to return to school to pursue her love of All Things Hair. She has been in the cosmetology business for 25 years, 16 of which she and her daughter, Melissa, co-owned their own salon business. Many of Beth’s customers have been with her for her entire career in the beauty business. They love Beth’s attention to detail and praise her customer service as the absolute best.
